Shrimp scampi is a classic and one of the easiest and most delicious shrimp dishes out there. Spice up the sauce with some gochujang or your favorite hot sauce.
Step 1
Heat 1/2 stick of unsalted butter and 2 tbsp of olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add 4 minced garlic cloves and sauté until fragrant. Pour in 1/2 cup of white wine with a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes and bring to a simmer for 4-5 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. Season with salt and black pepper.
Step 2
Toss 1 lb EZ peel of shrimp (shells on) into the pan and simmer 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove from the heat and stir in the juice of 1/2 of a lemon, the zest of 1 lemon, and a few dashes of coriander.
Step 3
Serve with fresh parsley and crusty bread to soak up all of the scampi sauce.
